David was born in Norfolk and grew up in the Hampton Roads area. He attended Old Dominion University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and an additional concentration in Music Theory and Composition. David has performed with many different bands and artists since the late 1970's, and has toured the East Coast and Midwest extensively. He is well-versed in a variety of styles, and has a great deal of experience in the recording studio, as well as live performance. He has appeared on television programs featuring local musicians, and has received recognition for original composition. David is an experienced instructor on guitar (group and individual) and also teaches piano and drums to both children and adults.
