JOA Musical Theatre

Dates: Monday-Friday, July 12-16

Camp I: Ages 8 to 15, 5:30pm to 6:30pm

Camp II: Ages 15 and up, 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Tuition: $175 per camp

JOA Improvisation

Dates: Monday-Friday, August 16-20

Our Joy of Acting camps are specially designed for students with high functioning autism, Asperger's syndrome and other social cognition delays, although we welcome neuro-typical actors as well! Instructors provide students with top quality instruction in a positive, rewarding environment.

 

The exciting, fast-paced classes focus on the development of social skills through the use of theatre! Improvisation and comedy will be used to discover each student's unique abilities and to provide an exciting and supportive environment in which to learn key social skills such as reading body language, perspective taking, and understanding and expressing emotions. Musical theatre will take the spotlight during our July camp!
