Celeste Agett

Choreographer & Broadway Dance Instructor

Celeste Agett is a graduate of the American Music and Dramatic Academy. She began singing & dancing at a very young age, which led to her love for performing and eventually her love for teaching and inspiring others to grow in their gifts. After training at AMDA and Broadway Dance Arts in NYC, Celeste traveled all over the United States as a professional singer/dancer. She landed in VA in 2002 when she was hired at Busch Gardens. She fell in love with the area and began her teaching career shortly after deciding to settle down in Virginia. Since then she has directed, choreographed, and taught dance, drama, & music, for over 15 years.  She is excited to share her love and passion for the arts with the next generation through Centerstage.

Our students rave about Ms. Celeste!

I want to thank Ms. Celeste for teaching me how to dance in ways I didn't know I could dance before...mainly tap dance." ~Haley Duke

Ms. Celeste was my first Centerstage Academy teacher!  I enjoyed a week-long summer camp with her so much in 2011, I signed up for my first class that autumn.  Ms. Celeste has an amazing smile, and she's taught me everything I know about ballet and tap (how it should look and sound).  I loved it when she let me create my own dance solo for Thoroughly Modern Millie, and her choreography has made Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat rehearsals super challenging and fun! ~Kaylee MacLuskie
