Nothing stirs a child's imagination like a rock star daydream. But rock bands are for big kids, right? Not anymore!

Rock music educator Dave Simon developed this amazing program Kidzrock that teaches kids ages 4 to 7 how to play instruments in a real performing rock band!

Band members rotate on drums, electric guitar, and keyboard as they prepare for concert performances. Each band sings and performs age-appropriate songs written specifically for Kidzrock. Children read color-coded standard music notation while playing on modified instruments for smaller sized hands. This allows young rockers immediate access to performing and singing in a rock band. Kidzrock creates a unique experience by combining instruments, theory, singing, ensemble performance and rock ‘n’ roll fantasy all rolled into one.

No need to purchase instruments or at-home practice expectations! We believe a child’s first exposure to playing an instrument sets the tone for the rest of their music education. Kidzrock allows a child to experience the ultimate musical accomplishment in a short period of time - performing in a rock band! Curiosity and fantasy are amazing motivators for young kids. Short-term accomplishments and lower practice expectations keep interest high despite the technical challenges of mastering an instrument. By using simple rhythmic and harmonic patterns on modified and kid-sized instruments, Kidzrock brings the ensemble experience to a whole new age group!

Our in-person classes will include appropriate social distancing measures which will be outlined to all students who enroll. The health and safety of our students and their families are a top priority.
