
Sarah Troutman is a passionate music and theatre educator originally from a small town in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. A lifelong lover of the performing arts, Sarah began her formal training at Millersville University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Music Education. Driven by her deep appreciation for storytelling and performance, she continued her education at Emerson College in Massachusetts, completing a Master of Arts in Theatre Education.
In 2023, Sarah began her teaching career in Newport News, Virginia, as a first-year choir director. The following year, she joined the York County School Division, where she currently serves as the choir director for both York High School and Yorktown Middle School.
Sarah is deeply inspired by the power of music and theatre to connect, uplift, and transform. She brings that passion into her classroom every day, striving to create a vibrant, inclusive, and empowering environment for her students to explore and grow through the arts.
