A delightfully offbeat adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl adventure, a boy and his insect friends take an amazing journey across the ocean. Featuring a wickedly tuneful score by the Tony Award-nominated team of Pasek and Paul (Dogfight and A Christmas Story the Musical) and a curiously quirky book by Timothy Allen McDonald (Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley), critics rave: JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH is a "masterpeach!" This musical theatre production camp will be an outrageous adventure for beginning and veteran performers alike!

A whirlwind in two weeks!
Once enrolled, students will receive their materials in advance and have the opportunity to audition for parts. Everyone will be cast in both shows. Once camp begins, it will be a whirlwind of fantastic fun and theatrical adventure as they work together to bring the story to life onstage.

Fully-staged live performances!
This two-week camp culminates in two magical performances featuring all of the students on stage, performing live in beautiful costumes in front of a spell-bound audience. With an amazing team of directors to guide them, students will gain valuable stage time, hone their performance skills, make lifelong friends and memories ... all while experiencing the joy of theatre!

An Offbeat, Quirky Classic!
Based on one of Roald Dahl’s most poignantly quirky stories, Roald Dahl's JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH JR is a brand new take on this tale. Featuring a wickedly tuneful score and a witty and charming book, this adventurous musical about courage and self-discovery is destined to be a classic.

When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece of fruit across the ocean, facing hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements along the way.

The creative possibilities are endless, and with a large featured cast, actors will love playing the many outlandish and larger-than-life characters!
Our in-person classes include appropriate social distancing measures which will be outlined to all students who enroll. Our facilities are sanitized and ventilated as recommended by health organizations. The health and safety of our students and families are a top priority.
